Worship:
On Sundays our community gathers for corporate worship at 9:00 & 10:30am, but as Christians we must resist the temptation of confining worship to what happens on Sunday morning. Even though Sunday is a vital part of our week, we believe worship must encompass the whole person, branching into all aspects of their life—work, family, play, finances, church… the list could continue indefinitely.
For centuries followers of Jesus have used a variety of practices called spiritual disciplines to help develop a lifestyle of worship. At WTCC our community explores one spiritual discipline a quarter. As we begin to develop these ancient practices in our private and corporate life we open ourselves to the work of the Holy Spirit. Our prayer is that through the practice of these disciplines God will transform our lives and community to reflect the heart and life of Jesus Christ.
In September, October, and November our community will explore the spiritual discipline of fasting.
