Short Term Mission to Mexico
March 26 thru April 3, 2010
On Friday, March 26, a group of 36 people of various ages from West Towne will head to San Carlos, Coahuila, Mexico in the church bus and van. There we will meet up with another family from our congregation who headed down a week early to prepare. Our main objective is to begin building a house by volunteer labor in San Carlos, Mexico for Jose & Anna Vasquez-Santibanez, a great family with 8 children (2 deaf) living in a shack made of pallets. While we are there we will also help the church in Zaragoza ministered to by Carlos & Josephina with Holy Week Children’s Ministries (similar to VBS). Our goal is a loving witness to Mexican brothers and sisters in Christ and changed lives of members of WTCC.
