We’re excited about what God is doing through the Ganyos in Ghana and the surrounding countries and ask you to pray for them and Addison who is interning in Ghana this summer along with our Short-Term WTCC Team with people from 3 other churches who are currently in Ghana. Recently a storm removed the roof of their main church building. Cost overruns have left them in need of $15k more than West Towne and other churches provided. If you can help financially with this project, select ‘Give’ in the upper corner and choose ‘Ghana Projects 2024’ from the first pulldown menu.
Prayer Requests
Please be praying for Addison Baldy who is in Ghana for his internship. We’re excited about what God will do in, through, and around Addison.
Also be in prayer for our Ghana Team who will be in Ghana from July 17-30. Here are some details about the trip:
- Dates of trip: July 17 – 30
- Team: 6 from WTCC, 3 from MI, 3 from OH, and 3 from PA
- 5 hour layover in JFK will be first time entire team meets in person – pray for supernatural team unity to begin during this layover
- Itinerary includes 6 work days where we will be doing light construction, 2 VBS days, 1 health clinic day, 1 mini safari day at Mole National Park, and 2 Sundays in fellowship with Tamale community
- Pray for safety while traveling and safety while in country
- Pray for team members’ adjustment to heat and environment
- Pray for physical health of team members
- Pray for unity/flexibility of team throughout entire trip
- Pray that language difference will not be a barrier to relationships
- Pray for sensitivity and obedience to God’s leading
- Pray that our Ghana team would represent the kingdom of God well in all things
